About Me
From Sunday mornings spent digging into the New York Times to pouring over Rolling Stone once the physical copy arrives each month, I have dreamed of writing for an esteemed publication since childhood.

I'm currently preparing for life as a May 2019 graduate of the University of Georgia, leaving the university with a bachelors in Journalism (Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication) and a certificate in Music Business (Terry College of Business). While at UGA I have acquired the skills to craft meaningful packages encompassing a broad spectrum of reportage, from business and local issues to entertainment and pop culture. I leave the university with the completion of four editorial internships-- Flagpole Magazine, VinylMag and twice at Paste Magazine-- and experience writing for the university newspaper, The Red & Black. Further, I graduate with three years on the Peabody Student Honor Board, through which I have been fortunate enough to judge the yearly Future's of Media Award as well as attend the aspirational event each May.

I currently live in Athens, GA as I begin the career search process with hopes to relocate post-graduation and dive in (pencil-and-notebook first) to life as a working journalist.
