PASTE Magazine (Editorial)
I spent my Fall 2018 semester as an editorial intern at Paste Magazine, during which I wrote 16 features and almost 200 news pieces for the culture-based website. I was able to interview now Grammy-winning musicians and cover music industry news during my time at the site, and developed strong skills in writing for an internet audience.
VinylMag
I interned with VinylMag during the Spring 2018 semester. While at the publication I was able to write less traditional, longer form pieces as well as live reviews for which I captured my own photographs.
Red & Black
I wrote for the University of Georgia's student newspaper, The Red & Black, during my first year of college before entering journalism school. This is where I was first introduced to news writing and interviewing, and the experience helped me grow exponentially before ever taking a course in the subject.
